Isabelle's Baptism

Isabelle was baptised on June 21, 2015 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Waukesha.  Her godparents were my brother Mike and DJ's sister Amber.  Isabelle wore the baptismal gown that my Baba made for my brother's and I when were were baptised. It was also my birthday, Father's Day, and our pastor Gary's last service at the church.  After the baptism, we went to my parent's house in Germantown with our families for celebrating, cake, and swimming!

We're Getting There

We've been having a busy summer so far - boat rides, a trip up north, swimming, and lots of walks and trips to storytime!  Isabelle is enjoying the warm weather and loves being outside, especially when she can splash in the pool.  Bedtime can still be a challenge, but we are working on going to bed before it gets to early and taking naps during the day.  She is starting to get a lot more alert and notices when we leave and enter the room.  She has also started working on sitting up - still a long ways to go!

We are all looking forward to her baptism next week!

Start of Summer and 4 Months Old

We're excited for summer!!  Isabelle has been able to spend lots of time outside lately and went swimming for the first time at Grandma and Dido's house over the weekend.  She wasn't too sure of the  cold water in the pool at first, but she loved going in her floaty!  We also go some fun sun glasses :)

Last week Isabelle turned 4-months old and we have officially put away all of her 3-month clothes.  She's rolling over all the time now - which makes bedtime interesting because she gets mad when she can't roll back from her tummy!  Nap time has been going a little better and we have been trying to get in at least a short afternoon nap during the day.  DJ and I have been busy trying to get our house ready in Lomira.  We mostly just have our bed and the crib to move up and lots of stuff to organize - we are looking forward to finally being settled!
